Henry J. Moravec III is a highly respected California probate attorney, trust and estate lawyer, and estate planning attorney serving clients throughout Los Angeles County and Southern California in matters involving estate planning, probate administration, trust administration, trust litigation, and fiduciary representation.

Mr. Moravec is a founding partner of Moravec, Varga & Mooney and has devoted more than 35 years to the practice of tax law, estate planning, charitable planning, and trust and estate administration. Known for his sophisticated planning techniques and deep knowledge of estate and tax issues, he has helped generations of individuals, families, business owners, and charitable organizations preserve wealth, accomplish their philanthropic goals, and successfully transfer assets to future generations.

Mr. Moravec graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 1990, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif in recognition of his academic achievement. He was admitted to practice law in California in 1990 and has practiced extensively in the areas of tax law, estate planning, trust administration, probate, and charitable planning for more than three decades.

Mr. Moravec is an AV-rated attorney, the highest rating awarded by Martindale-Hubbell for legal ability and ethical standards. He is a past Chair of the Exempt Organizations Committee of the Tax Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and previously served on the Executive Committee of the Tax Section.
A frequent lecturer and author, Mr. Moravec has spoken on estate planning and tax matters for Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB), the USC Tax Institute, and the National Conference of the American Bar Association. He also served as a contributing editor to the CEB publication, Advising California Nonprofit Corporations.
